My family was excitedly expecting twin boys to arrive in August of 2015. Shortly into the pregnancy we found out that one of our boys had CDH. We met with a multidisciplinary team at Cincinnati Children's Hospital to make a plan of how to care for him.

However, at just 26 weeks gestation, the boys arrived very early. Since the boys were so small (~2lbs), the doctors could not do anything for Victor. After he was born, we held him tight for the short time he was with us and said goodbye.

Clark was sent directly to the NICU and spent three months there before he could come home. During all of this time in the hospital it became obvious that so many kids are stuck here for months and even years receiving care for a range of illnesses. It must be so lonely and confining to be stuck both inside and possibly limited contact to others.

In memory of Victor, our family & friends raised money to build a gaming GO Kart for kids to use throughout Cincinnati Children's Hospital. These GO Karts are mobile gaming stations (TVs, Game Systems, Controllers) that can be wheeled around to whoever needs them - much like the carts that nurses wheel around at most hospitals.

We miss you Vic.
